The Hokkaido Shinkansen Line, the Japanese high speed train line, debuted on March 26, 2016.
This time the service is available between Aomori( Shin Aomori Station) and Hakodate( Shin Hakodate Hokuto station) .
It connects Tokyo and Hakodate using the existing Tohoku Shinkansen line.
From Tokyo to Hakodate takes around four hours and costs 22,690 yen per adult.
Hakodate is one of the largest cities located in the southern part of Hokkaido.
It is known for its fresh seafood, fantastic night view, and rejuvenating hot springs.
From Hakodate to Sapporo, which is the largest city in Hokkaido, it takes 3 hours and 40 minutes using the existing JR line.
In 2030, they plan to extend Shinkansen to Sapporo.
