Japanese cooking seminars to be conducted in Malaysia

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan will be holding Japanese cooking seminars for people in the food industry in KL,Malaysia.

A famous Japanese chef, Mr. Nonaga, will be conducting the seminars to introduce basic knowledge about Japanese cuisine.

There will also be cooking demonstrations using ingredients grown in Japan such as yellowtail, scallops and wagyu.

Local people can partake in actual cooking and tasting experiences.
The event is only open to people in the restaurant business (e.g. chef, manager or owner), food retail, or media industry.

May 18th (Wednesday) and May 19th (Thursday)
in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As food will be served to taste, advance booking is required.
We may not admit to enter persons without advance booking
on the day of the event. Registration must be made individually.

* It is a Non-Halal restaurant. At the event we will not use pork meat
for the menus, the menu of the day will be pork-free. Some
Japanese spices may contain pork-derived ingredients.
* There will be a “Sake” (Japanese rice wine) corner in the corner
of the venue. Those who wish can taste.
