Kumamoto earthquake fundraiser ended successfully

The Kumamoto Boleh, which was a Kumamoto earthquake fundraiser event held on the 11th and 12th of June in Publika, Mont Kiara.

This event was organized and handled by a group of Japanese volunteers who lives in Malaysia. Apart from the volunteers, the fundraiser event also had a number of Japanese restaurants and shops that were supporting the cause as well.

There were a lot of activities such as musical performances that also comprised the MPO players, flower arrangements, and a flea market.

The bad weather on the days of the event did not stop over 1000 visitors from enjoying the performances and their shopping.

Kumamoto Boleh! donation boxes called the Kumamon Fund can also be found in most of the Japanese cafes and restaurants, and Japanese company canteens in the Kuala Lumpur district.
