If you’re a family with kids aged from 2 – 12, LEGOLAND is a great park to visit for your next holiday. Legoland Malaysia was the first Lego-themed Park to open in Asia four years ago. All within the same area and of the Lego-theme is the hotel and the dry & water park, thus I recommend you leave at least 1 day to thoroughly enjoy each park.
After checking in, depending upon which floor you’re assigned to, you’ll be in either one of the three available themes – Kingdom, Adventure, or Pirate. In addition to the expected mini fridge, entertainment set, (LEGOLAND) toiletries, and safe box, each room has a mini puzzle for your child to solve which at the end will unlock a box containing a prize.
Although there were 2 restaurants within the hotel, our meals were only at the Bricks family restaurant. I managed to try the lunch & the dinner buffets. I must say, the spread was very lavish; it included a wide variety of local food as well as some western food and deserts.
To keep your kids entertained, in addition to the artistic Lego decorations, the lobby of the hotel consists of three areas where your child can get creative and have fun with Lego as well as a zone dedicated for (child-friendly) Xbox Kinect. Additionally, the whole hotel is full of interactive Lego features from the elevator to the hotel rooms.
